Start
by drilling the three marked holes on the bottom of the the rocker
panel.
|
Install
provided clips in the same holes you just
drilled.
|
Use
the same drill to remove burr from rear
bottom clip fastening area.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Remove
OEM brass clip from stock rocker panel
bottom end cap.
|
Fasten
OEM brass clip in same location of your
NEW JT3 Rocker panels.
|
Clean
inner mounting liner with acetone and
"Scotchbrite" to remove any silicone agents.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Bend
provided ampule to primer the area for bonding 3M tape. You have
5 minutes of flashtime!
|
Place
3M tape on inner mounting liner.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Align
rocker on car and hold with blue-tape.
|
Mark
the top edge of rocker with blue tape or
a grease pencil & remove the rocker.
|
With
a new ampule, coat all surface below the
blue tape about 1" in height.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Peel
about 3" of the 3M tape cover on each end
and reinstall the rocker. Peel cover 1foot at a time.
|
Once
rocker is glued to body, snap the clips
to the chassis vertical lip in the bottom.
|
Make
sure to place the lower tray below the
Rocker. Align the clip hole with the tray hole.
|
|
|
|
Bolt
the screw to the brass clip.
